ABOUT DR. EWBANK

I am psychologist with expertise in the treatment of Tourette syndrome (TS), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, behavioral problems, rage attacks, depression, trichotillomania and skin picking. I currently work for the Mind Health Institute, Santa Monica where I provide evaluations, consultation, and therapy for adults, children, and adolescents.

I was recently a Senior Psychologist at the Manhattan Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in New York City, and the Clinical Director of the Tourette Syndrome Program at Rutgers University. At Manhattan Center for CBT positions, I provide evaluations and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for adults, children and adolescents. At Rutgers, I oversee the training, therapy and research for the student and doctoral level clinicians. My past and current research focuses on the evaluation and treatment of individuals with Tourette syndrome and multiple other disorders (e.g. OCD and ADHD), and on the effectiveness of Habit Reversal Training (HRT/CBIT) for individuals with tic disorders. In addition to my current work, I have specializations in group psychotherapy and in short-term therapy with college students.
